职位描述
Purpose of the Job: (brief description of the job)
? The manager provides leadership, supervisions, coordination and performance management for all the activities and individuals of medical liaison team within Medical and Regulatory Department.
? Though leaders have special needs as customers, which can not be met by sales rep. The need for in-depth and cutting edge information about products is foremost. The medical liaison team is designed to meet those needs with a field –based group for individuals with deep content knowledge about Lilly and relevant disease/product. The role is set up to make sure the medical liaison team’s activities within company/local authority’s policy with higher performance. The role allows appropriate response to unsolicited requests and is non-promotional in nature.
Key Responsibilities of Job
1.People Management:
a) Create team structures including a defined decision-making process that supports objectives and meets timelines
b) Coordinate training and education programs to ensure staff is trained as needed, including but not limited to relevant therapeutic areas (specifically focusing on Forsteo)
c) Collaborate with staff inter- and intra-departmentally on the proposal development process.
d) Manage personnel activities, and provide guidance for professional development of staff with a focus in therapeutic expertise
e) Performance management and build up actionable development plan for all team members
2. Develop mutually beneficial relationships
a) ML manager will maximize relationships with TLs within Forsteo area. He/she will serve as the major representative of Lilly. This role will facilitate broad influence across internal and external customers by facilitations of requests for high impact activities and leveraging contacts with internal/external customers and profession organization.
3. Lilly Parternering
b) The ML manager will maximize internal relationships and exert leadership to collaborate with business partners. This will involve influencing strategic directions by proactively bringing forth opportunities for brand teams to collaborate with though leader.
c) He/she will represent thought leaders and be regarded as a trusted advisor by internal business partners for scientific and customer expertise.
d) He/she will proactively motivate and negotiate with internal business partners to improve quality and speed of support for information provided to customers.
4. Maintain current scientific knowledge
e) The ML manager will possess in depth knowledge of diseases state and product with the Forsteo area he/she represents. He/she will be recognized by internal and external customers as a disease state expert. He/she engage in continuous learning in Forsteo area. He/she will attend appropriate scientific meetings, do regular literature searched and library research, and will be expected to communicate regularly with ML team to assure that the entire group benefits from individual learning whenever it is relevant.
Job Requirements: (include requirements for education, work experience, and skills)
? Education: Bachelors degree in a health profession (i.e. Pharmacy, Nursing) or life science field. Or equivalent demonstrated experience in Forsteo field
? Strong and robust leadership
? Effective communication skills
? Ability to interact with diverse groups and individuals
? Basic computer skills
? English language skills – written and verbal
? Problem solving skills
