Job Description

1.Support local team with process experience for machining (metal cutting) processes for gears and shafts.

2.Develop generic standardised process plans for JV adherence

3.Provide expert support as requested into JV’s

4.Assist key launches on site

5.Generate processes from final part drawings and use of tolerance charting

6.Familiar with PFMEA and CAD software

7.Tooling knowledge for hard machining processes.

8.Connects between GFT/GETRAG/GAP for all relevant work tasks around tooling/MC suppliers in regards to gear 9.quality, and tooling execution to meet prototype/mass production timing targets and quality

10.Work with local engineers to train them in gears and shaft green and hard machining knowledge

11.Development of tooling strategy for rework process of tools.

12.Alignment of gear measuring programs to GFT standards

13.Supports in heat treatment distortion process for hard machining parts

14.Develops machine performance sheets to ensure feeds and speeds are documents to achieve productivity targets

15.Process development for new manual and DCT in-house parts

16.Develops MC inquiries for all gears and shaft production machines

17.Supports pre acceptances and machine commissioning at GETRAG Asian JV sites, Wuhan, Nanchang, Ganzhou, Yudu

Skill:

1.Bachelor or Master of Science in engineering or similar education

2.Minimum 5 years of experience in China for transmission parts process planning and production support

3.Good practical and theoretical understanding in transmission manufacturing systems
4.Good understanding of investment efficient manufacturing processes

5.Positive mindset and business oriented leadership with talent to motivate and inspire people around you

6.Experienced in working in an international environment

7.Excellent communication skills, good skills in English

8.Willing to travel to our JV locations at Jiangxi and Hubei province for onsite reviews and training of local people
