Product Development Engineer (for I/O)

BU - Consume Devices
Location - Kunshan

Responsibilities
? Responsible for product development from market definition through production and release
? Manage project progress concerned with design, development, testing, and manufacture of electronic components, products, and systems
? Conceives original ideas for new products and develops them into practical and economical models
? Determines specifications, performs engineering analyses, makes preliminary sketches and design, and coordinates support operations such as fabrication of prototypes and testing
? Interacts with customers, vendors, marketing and sales personnel, and other engineering areas during the pre-production stages of new products
? Visit (potential) customers in cooperation with the Business Office, get clear VOC

Qualifications
? B.S. degree or above required; mechanical engineering or other related fields
? B.S. with 8 years or MSc with 5 years related business experience
? Familiar to use Pro/E and AutoCAD software
? Familiar to use CAE software Ansys is a plus
? Good communication skills and teamwork spirit
? With basic knowledge on injection mold, progressive die and connector assembly process
? Ability to work directly with the factory; Design for Manufacturability
? Product validation and testing specification requirements
? Lean Design For Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred
? Willingness to travel globally
