Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical expertise and perform complex accounting work that supports business processes. Additionally, this position will: have a comprehensive understanding of JV's business and accounting practices, systems and procedures; apply and provide guidance on accounting issues; resolve issues independently; participate on and lead teams addressing complex problems.

2. Be exposed to a variety of accounting functions and will accomplish a high level of complex and/or technical analysis, analyze various outputs, advise others (both accountants and non-accountants),resolve issues and communicate these outcomes. In some cases, will participate in strategy development. Works on challenging, medium to high risk issues and makes decisions and recommendations as appropriate.

3. Possible areas of responsibility are varied, including: financial accounting including reporting, analysis and communication of division or multiple business unit's results; accounting user representative for financial systems; business analyst for Product and Commodity managers and teams.

4. Accounting tasks are of high complexity such as consolidations, balance sheet analysis, cash flow projections, worldwide coordination of product cost information, and system support and development. Advises and provides guidance to multiple functional areas and levels of authority.

5. Demonstrate knowledge and ability to handle accounting issues independently.

6. Coordinate and perform month-end closing activities, including prepare closing checklist, release and follow-up time schedule, lead the monthly closing review meeting, prepare manual GL journal entries, manage accrual and amortization accounts etc.

Requirements:

1. Have CPA / ACCA / CMA certification or be near completion of the certification

2. Bachelor degree in accounting or finance

3. Very strong interpersonal skills, capable of working across departments and with Must be able to understand the purpose of assignments and ask questions to clarify understanding

4. 3-5 years work experience, preferably in a Big-4 firm or multinational manufacturing environment

5. Cost accounting experience a plus

6. SAP experience a plus
