Roles and responsibility:

• Preparation and implementation of powertrain or its components test.
• Supervising mechanical and electrical infrastructure adaption of test rigs for new testing project.
• Modification and enhancement of test rigs control program code.
• Supervising operation of test rigs and analysis of test rig data.
• Instructing test rig operators.
• Reporting and presenting data to testing project teams and customers.
• Improving performance and reliability of test rigs.
• Integrating new test equipment and technology to meet the requirement.
• Communication with customers and suppliers.
• Supporting facility teams in maintaining support equipments of test cells.
• Collaboration with testing teams for effective testing resource planning and utilization.
• Continuous improvement of testing process and quality.
• Supporting 5S management and EHS deployment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above in mechanical / automotive engineering or related.

• At least 3 years of automobile powertrain testing or related experience preferred.

• Knowledge of transmission and engine mechanism and their components failure mode.

• Any structure language (C, Pascal, etc.) and any integrated development environment (VC, VB, Delphi, etc.) programming experience preferred.

• Basic knowledge of metal parts design, manufacturing and assembly.

• Basic knowledge of speed, torque, temperature, pressure, acceleration measurement and data acquisition system.

• Basic knowledge of converter, AC dyno.

• Basic knowledge of industrial automation system (e.g. PLC, relay, pneumatic / hydraulic components etc.)

• Basic knowledge of measurement and control theory (e.g. PID control).

• Experience with noise and vibration analysis including time, frequency and order analysis for rotating equipment is a plus.

• Quick solutions finding and conclusion drawing based on data analysis, information retrieval and logical thinking.

• Well-organized and systematic work style.

• Balanced, self-driven, and good team player with ability to innovate.

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

• Having driving license is a plus.
