Roles and Responsibilities:

1.Project acquisition:
- Regular contact with existing customers
- Identification of potential projects
- Prepare project proposal led by Senior manager and supported by Technical team, incl technical content,project timing, commercial offer, etc.
- Prepare all papers required for project proposal
2.Technical and commercial negotiation of contract:
- Support contract details with customer; liase with GRC departments concerned;
- Attend commercial discussions with customer;
- Get contract details agreed and ready for signature;
3.Managing project:
- Manage the technical content of the project by leading the Technical team
- Responsible for project budget
- Responsible for project timing, gateway delivery, technical delivery, etc.
4.Responsible for running projects; ensure customer payments according to schedule
- Closely cooperate with Marketing team for market and customer information: feed back data and information,for analysis; receive data to prepare customer negotiations
- Prepare and hold presentations at customer visits, conferences, seminars, etc.
- Be first point of contact for customer
- To introduce work scheme to new project employees

Requirements:

1.Masters or Bachelor (or equivalent) degree in Engineering
2.Minimum 3 years working experience, of which 2 years in the automotive industry
3.Minimum 2 years working experience in technism or 1 year working experience in project management
4.Profound knowledge about transmission and powertrain technology
5.Basic understanding of vehicle technology
6.Good business acumen; understanding of transmission and automotive market in China
7.Good knowledge of Sales process in China (for engineering consultancy)
8.Strong presentation and negotiation skills
9.Strong project management skills; understanding of project management techniques and methods
10.Good command of English
11.Very convincing; professional appearance; impresses people
12.Can withstand high pressures
13.Leadership skills; can motivate, inspire and lead a team (in particular non-direct reports)
14.Structured, coordinated, organised working approach
15.Capable of seeing the pig picture; ability to focus on key issues
16.Ability to bring key message across; sharp, precise description of situations
