POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
1.Minimum 5 yrs experience in Category Management or Purchasing
2.Greenbelt certified, or experience in supplier quality, Black Belt is a plus
3.Possess technical skills so as to communicate with suppliers, CM’s and management.
4.Previous experience in purchasing, customer service, logistics, within an international environment, preferably China.
5.Excellent MS Office skills, Oracle ERP is a plus, strong communication skills and high level of personal integrity a must.
6.High energy, with the ability to ‘close’ on assignments
7.Must be open to travel

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for managing the Coil portfolio at KES1, and Wire at Knowles. This includes, but not limited to:
1.Manage the existing supply base for coils and wire.
2.Sourcing and negotiating Supply Agreements
3.Pricing, Value Creation, payment terms, and supplier shipping
4.Support New Product introduction
5.Inventory management, consignment, forecasting
6.Lead supplier Business Reviews (QBR’s)
7.Maintaining SRC (Supplier Report Cards) and communicating results
8.Execution of NDA’s
9.The position will work supporting continuous improvement to Knowles Balanced Scorecard focusing on profitable growth and adding Customer Value.
10.Develop and communicate the strategy for the category
11.Work with supplier quality engineering and other SC functions on continuous improvement in quality, delivery, service, and cost.
12.Risk mitigation plans for the Category
