Roles and Responsibilities:

• This role will cover southern area OEM and transmission customer




• Development and testing


• Cover both sales & Project Management


• Project acquisition:




• Regular contact with existing customers;


• Identification of potential projects; Identification of potential projects;


• Prepare project led by Senior manager and support by Technical team, including technical content, project


• Technical and commercial negotiation of contract




• Support contract details with customer; liase with GRC departments concerned


• Attend commercial discussions with customer;


• Get contract details agreed and ready for signature


• Managing Project




• Manage the technical content of the project by leading the technical team


• Responsible for project budget


• Responsible for project timing, gateway delivery, technical delivery, etc


• Responsible for running projects; ensure customer payments according to schedule


• Closely cooperate with Marketing team for market and customer information: feed
  back data and information for analysis;


• Prepare and hold presentations at customer visits, conferences, seminars, etc.


• Be first point of contact for customer


• To introduce work scheme to new project employees

Requirements:

• Masters or Bachelor degree in Engineering;


• 3-5 years engineering working experience in power train area in China Auto industry


• PM and OEM experience is a plus


• Working in foreign company or in Joint Venture Company is a plus.


• Profound knowledge about transmission and power train technology;


• Basic understanding of vehicle technology;


• Good business acumen; understanding of transmission and automotive market in China;


• Good knowledge of Sales process in China (for engineering consultancy)


• Strong presentation and negotiation skill;


• Strong project management skills; understanding of project management techniques
  and methods


• Fluent English


• Very convincing; professional appearance; impresses people;


• Can take pressures;


• Leadership skills; can motivate, inspire and lead a team (in particular non-direct reports)


• Structured, coordinated, organized working approach;


• Capable of seeing the pig picture; ability to focus on key issues;
