HR Generalist, Shanghai
Location: Shanghai
Reporting to: HR Lead, Zoetis China
Role Description:
Talent Acquisition
? Manage recruitment process in partnership with line leader and recruiting partners (if appropriate), to include job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, offer development, pre-employment screening, and applicant tracking
? Manage talent acquisition process to attract and retain exceptional talent
? Select and manage local vendor relationships and costs
Compensation & Benefits
? Administer annual compensation and rewards program, including calibration process and all year-end compensation activities
? Deliver and support local employee benefits programs (with outsourced vendor)
? Partner with HR operations to manage local vendor relations for benefits, managing service levels, coordinating operations, resolving issues
Coach, build, enable manager capability and effectiveness:
Drive execution of annual and daily processes and provide timely and effective coaching to managers on the following HR processes and programs:
Performance Management throughout the year (i.e. mid-year reviews, development planning, performance Improvement Process [PIP] training as required)
Annual Compensation processes in alignment with country practices (i.e. calibration, reporting, and performance/pay differentiation), including Rewards & Recognition policy
Career Management (i.e. transfers, promotions, international moves)

Change Management and Culture
Oversee efforts in support of building management capability to facilitate an effective employee relations environment by providing advice and counsel, and, if necessary, conducting or overseeing employee relations investigations and providing analytics
Successful execution of orientation, as well as on-boarding and off-boarding of site colleagues
HR Operations
? Ensure consistency, standardization & optimization of HR processes and technology delivery of HR services
? Manage employee data and record keeping; oversee time and attendance process
? Interface with payroll vendor as necessary
? Respond to Manager/employee queries
Requirements:
? Graduate in Degree in Human Resources or related;
? 5 years with demonstrated experience as an HR Generalist role
? Strong business acumen required, knowledge and experience of healthcare and/or Animal health industry preferred
? Computer Literate, English Proficiency
? Good interpersonal/influencing skills, including the ability to effectively coach people manager, build relationships and leverage resources within the function and across the organization to advance business strategy

Pfizer Global Research and Development’s Center is mainly engaged in drug development activities. Much of the facility's capacity is devoted to the study design, data management and statistical analysis of global phase I-IV clinical trials, as well as the clinical study report process. In addition, CRDC is a part of Pfizer global Safety and Risk Management and covers the functions of safety data processing and assessment. The center also trains Pfizer employees in China and throughout the Asia region in internationally recognized Good Clinical Practice standards.
