职位描述
For a european automotive supplier settling in China, we are looking for a Sales Director. The Sales Director will have to
Develop and generate business in terms of new and existing customers
Provide high-quality product solutions in accordance with customer specific requirements.
He will report to the Global Business Development Director based in Europe.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Marketing
-Write an annual Sales & Marketing plan with the GBDD for the own client groups, including sales targets and specific KPI's
-Achieve and reports to the GBDD on agreed sales targets with responsibility for all pricing actions to deliver agreed gross margin budgets.
-Is responsible for acquisition of new projects by preparing quotations in order to complete new contracts
-Optimize current client relations and keep track of customer satisfaction by providing service and meet customer specific requirements.
Business Development
-Develop a network of key customers in order to acquire new accounts,
-Develop breakthrough products and create cost efficiencies.
-Create new business opportunities by introducing existing and new products to new customers.
-Build close working relationships with all internal departments to improve products and services, always looking to reduce costs.
Market & Product Knowledge
-Develop market and competitor knowledge that supports the business development
-Stay up to date about development, design, purpose and specifications of all products.
-Communicate with customers to stay aware of industry or business trends.
Project Management
-Project administration includes the responsibility for an updated PSO (general information / calculation / budget / list of materials / start plan) and providing the project team with correct and complete project documentation.
-Responsible for a transparent and optimal communication structure in order to keep the team members well informed and motivated.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- technical/ engineering AND sales education
- around 10 years experience in sales in the Automotive industry, especially for interior parts
-experience within european companies
-Communication skills; verbal & written
-English, Chinese language skills
