职位描述
ESSENTIAL TASKS & DUTIES:
§ Ensure the manufacturing readiness of new products; influence strong execution. Own the design of Manufacturability, Quality, and Cost input. Apply initiative, creativity and a results oriented approach.
§ Create Engineering BoMs & drawings for minor design changes (such as size additions) required for customer orders and complete all documentation updates in the ERP system."
§ Coordinate operational improvement initiatives to improve productivity and quality including but not limited to:
§ Assuring proper training of manufacturing personnel on new methods, equipment, and tooling.Providing technical support to resolve manufacturing and quality problems, including driving corrective action and detailed follow up.
§ Facilitating Failure Analysis (internal and Returned Goods).
§ Perform supply chain sourcing and quality management activities such as:
§ Escalate issues that cannot be directly solved to the appropriate contact in a timely manner.
§ Perform transactions needed to update IFS database and/or other reporting tools.
§ Assist other team members in response to customer inquiries or other requests for information.
§ Maintain the database of quality related information, processes and procedures in the Malu factory, including Corrective/Preventative Action Process.
§ Serve as back-up to the Production Lead.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
§ Follow all company safety policies and Quality Assurance requirements.
§ Respond to change productively and handle other duties as required.
§ Work extra hours as required to meet goals and objectives.
§ Travel as required to US for training and to suppliers or customers as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge & Skills:
§ Working knowledge of all phases of electro-mechanical assembly and tooling, including soldering.
§ Ability to effectively communicate with direct reports as well as management staff.
§ Strong knowledge of change control management.
§ Proficient at interpreting and manipulating engineering drawings and CAD files. Knowledge of CoCreate or other 3D Solid modeling CAD tool preferred.
§ Intermediate PC skills including but not limited to database, ERP systems, and MS Office.
§ High mechanical aptitude required.
§ Ability to pass Zetec Eddy Current Level 1 certification within one year of hire. Training will be provided.
§ Ability to effectively interface with engineering staff and operations management.
§ Fluency in written, verbal and interpersonal skills in the English language.
§ Capable of working independently with minimal supervision and able to employ effective time management skills.
§ Emphasizes attention to detail and accuracy.
§ Effective written and verbal communication skills.
§ Good problem solving skills.
Education Minimum Requirements/Equivalent:
§ High school diploma or equivalent required.
§ Post high school engineering education preferred.
Experience:
§ Minimum five years of experience working in the field of manufacturing or materials engineering and electro-mechanical assembly, including work with suppliers and product development teams.
§ Minimum two years of experience with custom/complex electromechanical products.
§ Minimum two years of supervisory experience preferred.
