a. Requirements:
1) 2 years or more experience in database development in Function/Procedure/Trigger/Sql
2) 3 years or more experience in Oracle/DB2/SQL Server/Performance tuning.
3) 1 year or more experience in SUN Solaris/HP Unix (System Level) is preferred.
4) Experience with Data Warehouse/Data Mining/OLAP is an advantage.
5) Experience with Java/C# language is an advantage.
6) Experience with Oracle 9i/10g/11g OCP is an advantage.
7) Possess good communication skill (both oral and written) in English and Chinese, is a must.
8) Possess ability to organize time & priorities and attentive to detail.

b. Job description:
Responsible for the selection, installation, design, construction, implementation, operation, maintenance, monitoring, tuning & administration of application/system database to meet business needs.

Key responsibilities may include:
1) plan, design, install & migrate the database in accordance to specifications & service level, implement automation tools script, where possible;
2) manage database changes through change request process & provide status reports to the relevant parties;
3) plan & carry out tasks to rollout changes to the database environment;
4) evaluate, recommend & select the software & tools to improve the database environment;
5) monitor the agreed service level, document & maintain the configuration of the database objects & provide regular reporting to relevant parties;
6) provide database access path related technical support & advice to the application team; etc.
