Junior In-house Legal Counsel

Tasks

• Support and closely work together with In-house Legal Counsel of the Regional Corporate Center in Shanghai

- Updating group management globally and in China regularly on commercial law, labor law and business related legal issues

- Providing legal advice on local matters to group companies (including general and specific contract drafts & reviews, updating and maintaining corporate records, dealing with commercial and labor disputes, compliance, intellectual property related issues etc.);

· Frequent translations and contract documentation between Chinese and English

· Participate in projects or transactions such as new legal entity establishments, joint ventures and acquisitions etc.

· Cooperate and coordinate projects with external law firms in China

· Support and service group companies to secure proper legal documentation and corporate records

Requirements

· Minimum 3 years work experience in a law firm or legal department of a multinational company

· Bachelor or Master degree in International Economical Law

· Sound understanding of Chinese law

· Ideally experience in legal issues outside PRC and/or IP related legal issues

· Fluent in English; Mandarin mother tongue

· Ability and endurance to work independently,

· Open personality with very good communication skills,

· Willingness to work in teams
