We are a German sourcing/buying office and we have four
offices in Asia. Our headquarters are in Germany and we have more than 2,000
retail shops around Europe being a trend-oriented textile discounter. In order
to cope with our expansion, we are now urgently looking for the following
position for our Suzhou office:

Merchandiser (m/f)

Job
duties:

• Working independently,
  performing all merchandising duties, supporting the team leader and
  merchandising manager to source goods and follow-up on orders
• Sourcing new hard goods/home wares/
  decorations suppliers, requesting and compiling information into a vendor
  info file
• Organizing and maintaining a
  supplier database
• Visiting suppliers and
  factories to find abovementioned goods needed for immediate domestic
  production and updating the production team of findings
• Maintaining files of
  development requests and organizing counter submits as they are received for
  review with the design team
• Following up with design
  team on needed images, samples needed to start the development process

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of work experience
  in the area of garment merchandising

• Tertiary education

• Very good
  verbal and written English language skills
• Strong communicator on an international level
• The
  ability to work independently with strong organizational skills, attention
  to detail while effectively prioritizing and executing tasks in a fast
  paced environment
• Occasional
  domestic and international travel is required
• Proficiency
  in Microsoft Office
