Major Responsibilities:

1. Be responsible for tooling/ equipment run off/ debug/ installation/ adjustment of all heat treatment machines on workshop
2. Lead process problem solving / root cause analysis
3. Execute CPI assignment on time
4. Follow Internal Control procedure, resolve the non-compliance in time
5. Optimize manufacturing process to meet Uptime, First Time Quality and Changeover goals
6. Implement process continuous improvement project for cost reduction
7. Maintaining manufacturing documents, such as SMP, PFMEA, PFD, W/I, etc.
8. Train Operator to implement working instruction
9. Assess operator skill level

Skills and Abilities/Qualification:

1. Bachelor degree of material engineering required, be apt to metal material engineering, basic courses should cover Metallurgy Principle, Metallic Materials in Engineering, Metal Heat Treatment Process, Basis of Mechanical Designing, etc.
2. AutoCAD capability preferred
3. Able to read different microstructures under microscope
4. Knowledge of microstructure transforming and character change during heating and cooling
5. Able to figure out the cause of failed parts in production via complex test result from Lab
6. Able to operate equipment in Metallurgy Lab
7. Good knowledge of heat treatment equipment, such as induction hardener, mesh belt continues controlled atmosphere furnace, chamber furnace, tempering oven/furnace, etc.
8. Familiar with common process like normalizing, annealing, quenching, carburization, carbonitriding, especially induction/conduction hardening, welding, etc.
9. Familiar with AIAG CQI-9 audit, and validation method of oven temperature uniformity and accuracy of the thermocouples
10. Able to clearly communicate in written and verbal English
11. Able to travel as required
12. Minimum 3 years engineering working experience relate to Heat treatment or metal material
