Sr Sourcing Engineer (mechanial parts)
Working location: Suzhou
Report to: Commpdity Manager
Job Description
1. Responsible for soliciting quotes from suppliers and ensuring competitive prices at RFQ status.
2. Prepare request for quotation (RFQ) on materials portion. Check for any holes and pricing accuracy in RFQ.
3. Review and submit final printout for cost competitiveness for approval.
4. Support Material Quote for ECO impacted parts.
5. Negotiate with suppliers on SMI/CRP program.
6. Support CSCM/GASC on Customer Contract price deployment. Support GCM on new contract price deployment and SOB alignment. Support buyers on PIV solution.
7. Perform system update of all pricings/Allocations/Terms and Conditions to facilitate MRP. New Vendor Account setup - for best payment terms, Terms and Conditions.
8. PO Price VS Contract Price variance report management.
Job Requirements
1. Bachelor degree or above, mechanical technical background.
2. Good negotiation and presentation skills.
3. At least five years of Experience with the EMS markets.
4. Experience with the components would cover: Plastic parts, or sheet metal, or hardware, or machining .etc.
5. Knowledge with Chinese distributors (active / passive and interconnect components).
6. Excellent English (read, speak and written).
