Summary:

This position is responsible for leading the implementation of an integrated logistics, customs and sourcing strategies and specific programs to achieve profitable growth. This person will be the single point of contact for integrating sourcing and delivery processes for the business.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design and implement sourcing and logistics strategies and programs to achieve profitable growth and annual productivity.
• Lead and engage in materials management function to source appropriate materials to support engineering
• Lead and engage in logistics planning and carrier relationship and management
• Provide expert advice regarding material selection, customs guidelines, rules and regulations from Chinese Customs.
• Provide advice to other departments on customs issue and ensure we follow the Customs guidelines.
• Develop and track key supply chain performance to include relevant service and cost measurements.
• Ensure alignment with Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, Planning and Customer Fulfillment on key actions and initiatives.
• Coordinate with Operations on key Operations Planning decisions such as production levels, demand forecast and inventory targets.
• Leads, recruits, retains and develops sourcing and logistics staff and resources

Educational/Experience Requirements:

• University degree (or equivalent) in Sourcing, Material Management, Logistics or related field;
• Over three years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment;
• Must have strong knowledge of ERP system;

· Experience in carrier / logistic management;

· Understands the supply chain interaction and actions to achieve growth, service and productivity objectives;

· Planning and organizing skills including the ability to balance the needs of service, production, purchasing and inventories.

• Proficient with Excel and similar tools for gathering, analysis and reporting of information;
• Experience working for MNC companies
• Good command of written and spoken English
