Job Output:
This is a high profile, highly visible role within ABP's Asia organization that requires a non-compromising commitment towards the successful achievement of targeted objectives. This position manages approved NPD (New Product Development) projects and is involved in all aspects of the new product development process, from concept development through to and including commercialization. This position routinely interacts with sales, marketing, product managers, NPD technical resources, manufacturing leaders, vendors, and suppliers to deliver targeted objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
? Manages the execution of assigned new product development projects for the ABP-Asia business.
? Insures the effective / disciplined use of the NPD process and related sub-processes by all project team and functional support members.
? Achieves targeted cost, schedule and product performance objectives of all assigned projects.
? Develops and manages project budgets within agreed upon targets.
? Supports Product Managers and other key functional leaders in the development of business cases and other key NPD process related documentation.
? Develops and manages project metrics that monitor project performance against established objectives.
? Develops and manages approved project resource plans through the length of all assigned projects.
? Provides ongoing and effective communications of project activities to all key business stakeholders.
? Actively participates in selected leadership and functional staff meetings as required to keep key stakeholders aware of NPD project activities, changes, issues, etc.
? Participates in NPD process 'stage-gate' meetings, as defined by project and process requirements.
? Networks with other global NPD Project Managers to insure best practice is shared.
? Interfaces with ABP Asia's leadership team and global functional leaders to define and apply what 'good looks like' for all NPD project management related activities.
? Works collaboratively with ABP manufacturing and outside third party vendors / suppliers to provide new product solutions.
? Uses LEAN principles, where applicable, to improve the overall effectiveness of new product development activities.
? Supports the development of ABP Asia's front-end process(s) and the queue of potential new product ceiling solutions.

Requirements:
? BS degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or other related technical field of study. 5+ years of business experience. Proven project management skills with a minimum of 2 years in lead project management role(s). Manufacturing, Go-to-Market and/or LEAN experience desired.
