We are a German sourcing/buying office and we have four offices in Asia. Our headquarters are in Germany and we have more than 2,000 retail shops around Europe being a trend-oriented textile discounter.

In order to cope with our expansion, we are now urgently looking for the following position for the Beijing area:

Quality Controller (m/f)

Job duties:

• Working independently, performing all QC duties, supporting the QC Manager
• Implementing new & productive concepts in the quality departments at all levels in pre-production as well as in bulk production
• Constant quality improvements without compromising on high efficiency & productivity
• Implementing, closely monitoring & improvising the quality concepts to ensure smooth flow & high quality product
• Analyzing routine production problems and damages to take corrective and preventive action
• Implementing high AQL
• Implementing SOPs

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of work experience in the area of QC in the garment field
• Degree in garment technology, fashion design or related field of study
• Fluent in verbal and written English as well as Mandarin
• The ability to work independently with strong organizational skills, attention to detail while effectively prioritizing and executing tasks in a fast paced environment
• Excellent knowledge of processing of textiles
• Well aware of international quality standards & AQLs
• Frequent domestic and occasional international travel is required
• Interest and passion for fashion and/or garments
