JOB DESCRIPTION
Job title: International Sales Manager - Asia
Reporting to: International Sales & Marketing Director
Direct reports: None
Purpose
The role of the International Sales Manager (ISM) is to deliver planned revenue, volume and profitability targets through the management of a defined portfolio of accounts operating within various trade sectors.
The ISM will ensure that Tacony exploits all opportunities for sales development and will support the promotion of the CFC (Powr-Flite, Truvox, Tornado & CFR) and brands.
Scope:
The ISM will manage a portfolio of accounts within a defined geographical region including regional importers and cleaning equipment distributors.
To identify and win equipment distribution opportunities for Tacony CFC in line with the strategic plan for the territory.
Accountabilities (and key activities)
1. Effectively manage a portfolio of accounts within a defined geographical region
? Effectively manage all accounts within the geographical portfolio through sound planning, professional delivery and analysis of all activities.
? Identify prospective new dealers / importers and devise appropriate strategies to develop and secure business.
? Ensure that all customer and prospective account coverage is quantified and generates a positive return on investment.
? Maximise revenue and profitability within all customers through effective sales support, pricing and promotional activity in line with the Tacony CFC Sales objectives (to be defined together with International Sales & Marketing Director)
? Optimise visibility and presence of Tacony brands within all customers.
? Maximise penetration and distribution of products within all customers.
? Undertake machine demonstrations and provide presentations / training to accounts as and when required in order to develop business
? Prepare and deliver annual business reviews to all major accounts, identifying and agreeing areas for future sales development.
? Provide accurate sales forecasts to Supply Chain to support production planning and to improve stock availability and customer service levels.
? Attendance at relevant international and regional trade shows.
2. Co-operate with colleagues in all departments to ensure effective delivery of appropriate sales support
? Ensure that all necessary information is provided accurately and on time to all relevant parties.
? Work with Marketing to deliver appropriate promotional activity and communication to support the development of International accounts.
? Co-operate with Customer Support both in UK and US in order to deliver first-class service and support to all customers.
? Provide timely and accurate feedback to Marketing and NPD in respect of field based trials of new products and of relevant competitor products / activity encountered.
3. Relationship Building
? Build strong commercial relationships with all internal and external contacts.
? Participate in trade associations and industry bodies and develop a network of industry contacts.
4. Maintain the highest standards of personal performance
? On-going self development.
? Work within Company guidelines and policies on Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental responsibility.

Technical Skills & Experience
Essential:
Chinese Mandarin Language & Good levels of spoken and written English
5 years Territory / National Account Management
Account Management of various customers including importers and dealers
Good standard of numeracy and literacy
IT proficient
Ability to travel at short notice.
Desirable:
A third language
3 – 5 years International Business-
to-Business sales experience selling
capital goods, floorcare, or janitorial supplies
Key Accounts management experience

Experience within the cleaning &/or floor care industry coupled with established contacts
