职位描述
This position is responsible for leading the projects to develop and solidifies supply chain strategy for Excavator’s light fabrication components and assemblies category that includes Fuel&Hyd. tanks, linkage pins and related sleeve bearings, seals. The position also acts as single point-of-contact for global light fabrication team for Americas, Brazil and Europe EXD facilities.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Take lead of Supply Chain Strategy project for light fabrication to support NPI projects and new EXD facilities meet EXD’s expectation on right product, right cost and right time.
- Identify areas of opportunity in cost reduction for light fabrications, linkage pin, seal and sleeve bearing using total cost analysis and should-cost modeling methodologies.
- Develop project charters, launch and lead cost reduction projects using 6 Sigma methodologies to reduce product cost for Excavators, components, and sub-assemblies.
- Coordinate design and analysis efforts for all SCR cost reduction projects, including validation and implementation.
- Represent the Supply Chain Rationalization team on core cost reduction efforts and facilitate communications between the SCR team, GP, and various EXD teams.
- Maintain the database of the projects he or she leads.
- Conduct make-buy studies and support worldwide source planning.
Required Qualifications:
- The position requires an undergraduate degree from a college or university – or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of five years of job-related experience in engineering, logistics, purchasing, and manufacturing.
- Effective communicator in written and oral form. Fluent in the English language and preferred other languages.
- Strong project management skill.
- Travel flexibility with country and internationally. Estimated 30% of travel time.

- Well-developed interpersonal skills are required in dealing with sensitive issues, developing others, and reaching consensus on specific actions.
- Functional leadership. Be capable of leading teams, suppliers and customers to find effective solutions.
- 6 Sigma experience (GB)
- Understand the fabrication process, paint process, heat-treatment process.
