职位描述
Responsibilities
61 Responsible for design and development of local, regional or global Packaging Processes for Connected Living Solutions BU worldwide manufacturing operations.
61 Create new packaging designs to support new product performance requirement and customer packaging requirement.
61 Identify supplier, acquiring quote based on design specification, create packaging material drawing, set up packaging BOM, publish packaging specification and drawing.
61 Perform packaging testing to support new designs and submit test report to new project team.
61 Capable of develop the optimized packaging solution.
61 Address existing packaging complaints from customer.
61 Work with product engineer, manufacturing engineering and industrial engineering at manufacturing plants to assist with packaging related changes, substitutions and cost savings opportunities.
61 Maintain packaging data with SAP system.
61 Coordinate customer specific label requirements into manufacturing and distribution.
61 The Package Engineer will report to Connected Living Solutions Business Unit Manufacturing Development Engineering Manager
Position Requirements:
61 Proficient verbal and written English
61 B.S. Packaging Engineering or Mechanics Engineering
61 Familiar with legacy electronics packaging, e.g. carrier tape, tray, tube, paper reel.
61 Familiar with packaging standards, e.g. ISTA, EIA, ASTM, JEDEC, ISO .etc
61 Familiar with AutoCAD, CREO, SOLIDWORK
61 Familiar with label design software BarTender for new label requirement.
61 Advanced SAP & Excel knowledge base preferred
61 Good communication skills and the ability to articulate technical data effectively
61 Must be able to effectively work with people of diverse cultural backgrounds
61 Flexible work schedule to work with global teams
