Responsibilities
1.The Procurement Manager is responsible for initiating and implementing e2e cost saving initiatives including VE, OE, Complexity Reduction, Continuous Improvement, Benchmarking exercises, Supply Market evaluation, with the contractors within the region to ensure optimal cost and that the target Blueprint savings for selected contractors and product ranges are implemented and achieved.
2.Responsible for the regional sourcing exercises of the Category NPI projects. This will involve working closely with the Category ES Director and the local/regional commercial organizations to agree on the project requirements and the sourcing criteria.
3.The Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing the regionally sourced Products Cost of Goods (COGs) and PPV as well as working with the other functions to develop and implement improvement plans which will generate improved service to GSK either via cost reductions, supply and/or quality Improvement.
4.Support for new business acquisitions including due diligence and audit participation that involve an external supply base.
5.The Procurement Manager is responsible for maintaining an up to date knowledge base on all relevant Contract Manufacturers within their area of responsibility covering scope, technologies, performance and reputation. The Procurement Mgr should input this knowledge and contribute to the development of Category ES strategy and the selection of suitable Contract Manufacturers.
6.Responsible for all Contract Manufacturers (CMs) in region and category.
7.Drive improvements to external supply base capability utilizing OE tools and techniques in line with category and regional objectives to provide competitive advantage to the business.

Requirements
1.University Degree in a relevant discipline (business, science, technical Experience of working in a procurement environment.
2.Ability to manage and work in cross-functional teams to deliver agreed business requirements.
3.Knowledge of GSK sourcing group management process
4.Knowledge of GSK new product development process and project management.
5.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deal with high levels of complexity.
6.OE Green Belt or expert
7.SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) experience
8.SGM practical certification
9.Familiarity with Quality Management and appropriate regulatory standards.
