职位描述
As part of a broader CA global team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the business development and strategic account activities for CA adhesives and sealants market in China. This position will focus on developing current customer relationships and identifying new opportunities to rapidly grow CA product sales in the region. The regional focus will be primarily East China, with support to Greater China as needed. This position will be based in one of the major cities in Eastern China where H.B. Fuller has a physical presence and initially report to the VP CA Asia.
The Account Manager will have strong commercial experience in the adhesives and sealants industry along with a good working knowledge of the applications and materials employed in the Construction industry in China. They must have a track record of being able to develop new business development strategies and implementation plans, and then execute those plans to deliver sales growth in line with the agreed business targets.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Maintain and develop existing customer relationships
- Developing new customer relationships and finding new growth opportunities
- Drive sustainable sales and profit growth in line with agreed business objectives
- Actively manage and coordinate all aspects of the sales process and act as focal point for information flow between the company and target accounts.
- Identify and validate new sales targets and develop pipeline of opportunities in line with agreed business objectives from each CA market segment
- Act as a project manager throughout all phases of the sales process; driving key actions, setting priorities and managing risks.
- Partner with relevant global resources (R&D, Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, commercial SME’s) to deliver solutions that fully meet customer's needs and timeline.
- Operate business activities within the required expense budgets
- Timely accurate monthly reports, CRM database updates, project update, etc.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- BS degree or equivalent, preferably Business or Science
- 5+ years account management experience in adhesives/sealants industry, construction industry or related technical field
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
- Regular domestic travel to be expected as part of role
BUDGETARY/FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY
- The position will manage the area scope of business with responsibility to deliver annual revenue and margin targets.
