Job Responsibilities:

1. Mechanical equipment (Static equipment, Rotating equipment and miscellaneous) working scope management of the project, including mechanical scope explanation based on EPCM contract and scope definition management

2. Work with Allnex process engineers to instruct EPCM mechanical engineer based on Allnex Engineering Standard /GB Standard (fine chemical and petrochemical) and Allnex Safety in Design  requirements

3. Technical support to Static and Rotating equipment design formed by EPCM company

4. Review mechanical equipment design and fabrication specification, data sheet, MR packages.

5. Reviews vendor drawings, calculations and other documentation

6. Mechanical discipline Interface between EPCM mechanical team and other engineering disciplines of Allnex engineering team,

7. Support procurement for technical clarification of MR package.

8. Support site mechanical equipment installation and pre-commissioning.

9. Coordinate with process engineer and EPCM mechanical engineer

Requirements:

• Working Experience

  • At least 15 years mechanical engineering experience with demonstrated GB and ASME, ANSI and API code understanding ability, strong problem solving ability.

  • Chemical industrial working experience is highly desired, especially lubricant plant design experience.

  • Both rotating equipment and static equipment background with some experience in large equipment package unit is preference.

  • Site construction experience is preference.

• Knowledge

  • Be proficient in API 676 Rotary Pump code, 682 Shaft Sealing Systems for Centrifugal and Rotary Pumps standard, API 610 and ANSI B73.1 centrifugal pump standard

  • Be Proficient in Chinese code (GB, SH) on gear pump, centrifugal pump compressor. well GB tank pressure, vessel code

  • Knowledge of ASME code on material and welding requirement

  • Static equipment code knowledge API 650, ASME VIII and GB 150 is preference.

• Work

  • Demonstrated ability to clearly define the work scope and to solve problems.

  • Has excellent ability to work as a team member and recognized by peers as a respected individual contributor to team efforts.

  • Good communication and coordinate capability. Close working relationship with other disciplines

• Computer Software

  • Window system and Microsoft excel and word etc, CAD is preference

• Language

  • English speaking and writing ability

• Education

  • Bachelor or above in mechanical engineering program

• Locations

  • Shanghai in design phase and Dushan port in construction phase
