Role & Responsibilities

As the Senior Manager - Supply Chain, you will be responsible to evolve and manage the supply base through aggressive, disruptive thinking and creative problem solving. This will entail:

• Developing and executing strategies for Greater China and more broadly Asia, based on overall project objectives, supply market dynamics, technological changes in the marketplace and other relevant factors.
• Working in conjunction with stakeholders to identify value opportunities
• Planning and executing specific supply chain activities that include but are not limited to material ordering, clear-to-build management, price negotiations, material lead-time analysis, terms and conditions management, material sourcing and issue resolution
• Working with cross functional teams to implement and optimize the supply chain
• Supporting cost reduction and sustaining sourcing activities
• Helping to identify and evaluate potential electronic and mechanical component suppliers to reduce supply chain risks
• Creating scorecard metrics for evaluating tier 2 suppliers for each category of supply
• Leading negotiations and drive for the best optimized value proposition (life-cycle management, innovation, speed & risk and liability mitigation)
• Driving your sourcing strategy through an analytical, data driven category approach with great attention to detail

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree, with a focus on supply chain management (or related field) is preferred
• 10+ years’ total work experience in a supply chain related environment, with component sourcing, forecasting, supply/demand planning and purchasing
• Strong record of driving measurable improvements in manufacturing and supply chain and optimization across a variety of areas such as sourcing, delivery excellence, quality management, costing, and sustainable manufacturing
• Global perspective and experience in sourcing and procurement processes, supply base management and best practices
• Experience in spend management practices such as demand management, compliance management, supplier collaboration and/or performance management
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate competitive component pricing with best in class terms
• Highly proficient with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
• Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Fluent Mandarin Chinese and English speaker
• Consumer product process and mapping knowledge
• Self-directed, persistent and comfortable working independently
• Proven experience bringing complex electro-mechanical products to market
• Ability to resolve conflict efficiently and effectively
• Passion for product and sport
• Ability to travel 30-50% of the time, including international travel
