Responsibilities
Sourcing professionals at Alaris are exposed to a wide variety of industries and are challenged to utilize and develop their capabilities. For each project, the Sourcing team plays an integral part of a team that is seeking to help clients solve challenging problems. The sourcing team will seek and collect the right information, develop hypothesis, interpret data, and present findings to case teams and clients. A Sourcing Manager leads a team of Associates that develops strategic. Sourcing Managers have a unique opportunity to develop valuable skills and it is their responsibility to grow quickly. It is our responsibility to give Sourcing Managers the opportunities and tools to grow.


Qualifications
Sourcing team members generally join Alaris after 5-6 years of work experience in a sourcing / procurement role. We are looking for high potential candidates who can assume the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
· Find and evaluate new suppliers, including assistance in quality audits and supplier development
· Support the goals of Commodity teams on resourcing projects
· Support the product development needs of Company's marketing and sales teams in Asia
· Elicit the full support of existing purchasing personnel
· Supplier assessment and evaluation
· Project management
· Price and terms negotiation
Requirements:
· University degree major in Science or Engineering, preferred
· At least five years of purchasing related work experience in a company with international exposure in management role is preferred
· Retail goods industry experience sourcing fast moving consumer goods
· Excellent management and communication skills
· Strategic thinker
· Team player, particularly an ability to find and nurture talent
· Good Mandarin, proficient English, reading and writing
· Strong negotiation, time management and project management skills
· Able to prioritize jobs and tasks, for self and staff
· Willing to take challenges and work under pressure
· Desire to travel
· Sense of humor
