Job Description:

    

·       Support Zongshen’s receiving inspection activities by auditing components quality to ensure engine assembly quality is at an acceptable level.

    

·       Review receiving inspection sampling plan and make sure Zongshen strictly follow sampling plan for receiving inspection.

    

·       Track progress of component issues that are identified in receiving inspection, work with Zongshen STA group to find out true root cause of component issue and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

    

·       Work directly with Zongshen to develop quality plans, identify and close gaps within their systems that may result in quality issues.

    

·       Establish and utilize appropriate quality tracking metrics to prioritize quality issues and drive corrective action and continuous improvement based on real time data.

    

·       Issue non-conformity report and review 8D Report submitted by ZongShen or ZongShen’s supplier.

    

·       Participate in Zongshen’s pilot build, track closure of pilot build issues prior to components shipment.

    

·       Participate in Zongshen’s sample engine assembly and validation test of sample engines based on batch shipment, make sure engine validation test results are acceptable prior to component shipment.

    

·       Inspect supplier’s packaging quality on a regular basis to ensure supplier’s package meets designed requirements. Find opportunities for packaging improvement.

    

·       Ensure consistent and comprehensive quality strategy is implemented and maintained for current product as well as future product development activities.

    

·       Monitor and analyze global engine warranty analysis to identify and recommend engine design and manufacturing improvements.

    

·       Participate in cost reduction initiatives.

Requirements:

    

·       Bachelor degree in Engineering discipline or 5 years equivalent professional work experience in Quality Engineering.

    

·       Demonstrated experience with applying quality tools and techniques (SPC, Control Plans, PFMEA, PPAP, DOE, APQP, sampling plans, system auditing, and corrective actions)

    

·       Ability to effectively interface with all support functions such as; manufacturing, purchasing, sales, and engineering.

    

·       Must possess bi-lingual verbal and written communication skills.

    

·       Ability to communicate internally, as well as, externally to all levels of the organization.

    

·       Must be able to read an engineering drawing. Including GD&T and material specifications.

    

·       Must be familiar with common manufacturing process.  Machining, aluminum die casting, plastic molding and steel stampings.

    

·       Must be able to initiate, manage and drive change.

    

·       Demonstrate effective organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

    

·       Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a global team environment.

    

·       Knowledge of MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access)
