MTS Graphics Core Verification Engineer

THE ROLE:

AMD graphics core verification team is responsible for all IP level functional verification work for all GPU products. Engineers work together with global gfxip teams including designers, architects, software, etc, to achieve success in high performance graphics and compute areas. You will have chances to work with top talents and see how these great produces will be implemented.

THE PERSON:

A quick learner for new technologies, and strong willing to learn. Key performance skills include, problem solving, teamwork, communication.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with global gfxip verification team and arch/designer to understand new GPU product design and features.
• Work out testplan, test creation, debug, and coverage closure.
• Debug on Cmodel, RTL and HWEMUL
• Provide technical support to other teams, including performance and power

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• >5 years IC verification working experience or Game software programing experience
• Experience/Background on Computing/Graphics is a plus
• Good at C/C++/Verilog/System Verilog, perl/python is a plus
• Experience with OpenGL/OpenCL/D3D programming is a plus
• Strong communication skill and cross teamwork is desired
• Strong problem-solving skill is desired
• Passion to work efficient and improve the current methodology
• Basic English skill for working globally

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• BS-EE / BS-CE with 5+ years directly related experience. An advanced degree will be a plus.
