THE ROLE:

AMD MI IP development team is the most innovation and important team , be responsible to design machine intelligent and graphic IPs , deliver the best performance HPC IP to SoC team and market. You will be work with the global function teams on function implementation , function verification and verification flows , driving both the dependencies and deliverables to hit the IP milestone metrics.

THE PERSON:

Has knowledge with RTL design ,timing analysis knowledge and script skills . Has good communication skills and be able to work both independently and in a team. Proactive to attend the technical and non-technical discussion, working with multiple function teams inside AMD to accomplish complex projects with aggressive schedule and challenges.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop micro-architecture for GPU blocks based on architecture requirement.
• Develop RTL codes for GPU blocks in Verilog HDL
• Hardware optimization for GPU blocks on performance, power and area
• Synthesis and closely working with physical design for timing closure

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Strong RTL design capability and has experience on large digital ASIC product
• Familiar with front-end ASIC design flow and EDA tools
• Familiar with UNIX/Linux working environment and script language (tcl, perl etc.), C/C++ programming preferred
• Fluent English on communication, presentation and writing documents
• Work independently with limited supervision, strong sense of work planning and on-time delivery
• Computer architecture and computer arithmetic knowledge is a plus
• Computer graphics knowledge is a plus

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• MS degree of EE with 8+ years working experience in ASIC Company
