Job Description:
This position is the liaison between the Arden USA office, the Arden China office and the suppliers. This position manages the communication and relationships between the customer, internal team members and the suppliers to assure product development and product launch objectives are met on time, complete and correct.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Understanding the product development objectives for each project.
- Being current and driving the timeline for start to finish on each project.
- When a design is received, applicant must be responsible and stay on top of all details to ensure development and engineering initiatives are executed On Time, Complete, Correct.
- Create and Manage the development timelines with the suppliers and report to US office and PD manager.
- Negotiate pricing and determine creative alternatives on design to achieve the target cost if needed.
- Address any issues on PD and future production timely.
- Keep track of the development progress and price information through a company operation system.
- Work with quality team to validate product quality with necessary testing once the samples are completed.
- Conduct internal meetings to review the product details and upcoming tasks for each new program, communicating with operational related teammates to ensure the transition between development and production is seamless, always provide the insight and support to the operations team if needed.
- Work through the challenges in the daily wok with your supervisors and other teammates from the development to the production to achieve company business goals.
- Collaborate/work closely with internal team from product life cycle using internal system for accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage and execute bi-weekly call with US PD team.
- Be flexible with any other assignments from the supervisors.
- Capability to manage one or two persons for the production.
Professional Qualifications:
- Willing to relocate to Gong Ming, Shenzhen.
- College graduate with at least 5 years working experience in trading knowledge, factory working experience is preferred.
- Previous working experience in an America company is preferred.
- Excellent English communication skill a must, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Be skillful at Project Management.
- Be professional and optimistic, highly energetic, motivated, passionate, team player, detail oriented and can work independently.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Forward thinking and planning mindset.
- Able to manage multiple projects at one time and communicate to different team members.
- Always be willing to learn new things and accept different challenges.
