Machine Deep Learning Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Responsible for AMD Machine/Deep Learning Software Development (Driver, SDK,
Frameworks);
? Develop testing for Machine/Deep Learning products to ensure functionality,
compatibility and performance;
? Optimization, Tuning of Deep Learning Kernels Performance/Power Analysis,
? Triage, isolate failures of root cause analysis and work with global development team to
verify fixes;

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
? Passion for building great software
? Seven years or more of relevant work experience
? Strong technical skills and experience in software product development using C / C++ in
Linux environment
? Experience in using and developing GPGPU software with knowledge on GPU
architecture
? Experience in GPU computing (e.g.: OpenCL , CUDA, DirectCompute, GPGPU)
? Experience in analyzing performance bottlenecks, and implementing optimizations to
relieve analyzed bottlenecks
? Experience in software performance analysis and optimization
? Ability to quickly learn new skills and drive completion of business goals
? Experience working in a multi-site environment and ability to travel occasionally to meet
with developers
? A team player, who is very self-motivated, loves difficult challenges, and is goal driven
? Excellent verbal/written communication and evangelizing skills with an entrepreneurial
spirit to drive results is a plus

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd:
? OpenCL/OpenGL/Direct3D/CUDA/C++ Amp/ROCm experience is a good Plus
? Familiarity with development of any Deep Learning framework or HPC application is a
good plus;
? Familiarity with any Deep Learning or HPC algorithm such as FFT/GEMM/Convolution is a
strong plus;
? Familiarity working with GPU hardware and architecture is a strong plus;
? GPU Assembly/GPU Compiler development experience is a strong plus.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering, or equivalent
? Must have 7+ years of strong software development experience
? Strong programming skills in C and C++
? Excellent communicator, both written and verbal;
