Position: Quality Maneger
Location: Foehl China Co., Ltd.
1. REPORTING STRUCTURE
Reports to: General Manager of FCN
Supervises: Quality Dept.
2. THE ROLE
The Quality Manager is the company quality and environment representative. The Quality Manager's role is assist the General Manager to establish company's quality and environmental management system, being responsible for the provision of projects' advance quality planning and products' quality management, provide support to the General Manager and peers which ensure the long term, stable business development in a safe and responsible manner and which contributes to the achievement of the company's business objectives.
3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
? Provide advice and support to the General Manager for the establishment and improvement of the company quality and environment management system, and strictly implement the provisions.
? Establish scientific, systematic, advance and reliable quality managing system and inspection system, ensuring compliance with company's actual situation and effective
? To draw up and inspect the annual plan for company's quality and environmental audit and report the audit results to General Manager and the company management team.
? Lead and direct the development of quality employees and ensure specific guidance and training are provided as required
? Ensure that the quality department complies with all Standard Operation Procedures and Principles.
? Draft products' development quality assurance plans, quality regulations and standards, ensure they are compatible and be strictly enforced, understood and adhered to.
? Contribute to the provision of advice and support to the purchasing department in supplier's management and evaluation.
? Ensure that the quality control and testing methods and instruments are compatible and well maintained to meet the drawings of customers.
? Provide sampling reports and ensure the products quality are achieved in accordance with the customer's requirements in a safe and responsible manner which contributes to the achievement of the company's business objectives.
? Contribute to the feedback of quality problems to the project manager during the development of products.
? Handle and report to GM quickly quality matters in the responsible manner to meet the requirement of the company long term, stable business development
? In charge of new products PPAP submission.
? Lead and direct the team building through constructive thinking abilities
? Ensure the communication with customer regarding quality requirement and coordinate customers' process and system audit
? Responsible for set up and manage the document control of the Company according to advanced methodology
? Assist General manager to set up the company annual quality target and organize quality target review with regularly basis
? Ensure all new quality cost are captured and controlled under the budget level.
? In charge of management of Company testing Laboratory
4. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
? Minimum Bachelor degree in Sciences or Industrial Management are required
? A minimum of 6 years experience in Quality is required
? A minimum of 4 years experience in an industrial environment similar to the foundry or plastic injection industrial is required
5. COMPETENCIES
? Demonstrated proficiency in the use of English language in read, write and speaking
? Highly analytical interpretative and constructive thinking abilities
? Solid understanding of current situation with strong communication, negotiation and influencing skill.
? Demonstrated ability to lead teams through personal example and influence
? Demonstrated ability to organize/prioritize work, to meet deadline and to prepare and follow closely plans
? Ability to lead team through personal example and influence
? Serious minded and strong responsibility sense
? Solid understanding of TS16949, VDA6.3 and ISO14001 quality and environmental management system
? Self directed and self motivated
? Creative and innovative
