TE Connectivity’s Digital Factory Deployment team is a highly diverse and inclusive global team responsible for implementing and scaling up enterprise Ready-to-deploy digital factory solutions to 100+ manufacturing sites across TE global perusing strategic value impact to our businesses with millions of dollars in cost saving. We support digital factory solutions include but not limited to MES (manufacturing execution systems) which interacting with ERP and machine connectivity, Digital Quality, Digital Tooling, Andon solutions, scheduling, Traceability solutions etc. to enable manufacturing business process digital transformation, and leverage IoT, data & visualization platforms like Thingworx for visual factory and data analytics, and partnership with plant Digital Factory leads carry out kaizen workshops to maximize the value of digital factory solutions implemented.

The role will involve aspects of MES, Quality, Data analytics, IoT, Andon, and overall familiarity with shop floor practices. Success will be determined by speed of understanding TE’s environment, strategic thinking, learning agility and execution to roadmap and plans, and delivery projects at the faster pace of business.

Responsibilities:

·       Keep up to date of TE enterprise ready-to-deploy digital factory solutions knowledge and become self-sufficient for project executions according to strategic priorities and roadmap.

·       Partnership with project managers and assist scoping, proposal, estimation on cost and scheduling, risk management etc. to ensure on-time-on-budget project delivery with excellent customer experience.

·       Own the technical portion of the project and work directly with customer / business representatives to bridge enterprise solutions with business process and requirement.

·       Supply subject matter expertise to the whole project lifecycle from business process mapping, project requirement analysis, feasibility study & proposal, system setup / configuration, user trainings, and user testing, to successful production go-live, and handover to support team.

·       Responsible for the technical issue resolution with proactive collaboration with members from multiple external teams includes but not limited to development & architecture team, infrastructure team, ERP team etc. and timely close-loop feedback to customer / business representatives.

·       Participate digital workshops /Webinars / Knowledge Sharing & Transfer sessions to provide consultant, recommendations and become valuable champion to our Digital Factory community and network.

 

Requirements:

·       Bachler in IT, Engineering, Manufacturing Automation, Master is a plus.

·       Track record of education performance, colleague innovation project experience is a plus.

·       Good understanding on Industry 4.0, MES, IoT platforms like Thingworx etc.

·       Proven knowledge & Skills on SQL etc. database technology, C# or Java development tools.

·       Strong coordination, Learning and Problem-solving ability

·       Ability to adapt to and enjoy an inclusive & diverse global working environment and collaborate with team members from multiple countries virtually in different time zone.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills Including MS Office in English and Chinese.

·       Ability to travel domestically and internationally

·       Leadership experience in colleague event and society practice is a plus.

·       Good Understanding on 6-sigma, LEAN Methodology is a plus.

·       Good understanding on ERP-SAP is a plus.

·       Good understanding on project management methodology (agile, waterfall) is a plus.
