SD Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead activities to improve quality system and performance of the supplier base
• Utilize standard the processes to audit new suppliers, and to drive suppliers improving to the requirement
• Managing supplier quality complaints according to the defined escalation levels, lead the root-cause analysis and issue resolution to supplier quality issues
• Conduct technical review on the assigned commodities for new projects
• Lead APQP and PPAP activities for the assigned projects and commodities
• Analyze supplier performance metrics in supporting to supplier bidding list maintenance
• Lead / Assist roll out, training and implementation of global supplier quality procedures at both suppliers and China plants
• Support cost saving opportunities and activities
• Provide training to plant SQE team and/or suppliers as required

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or above in engineering or similar
• Minimum of 10 years of work experience in auto-industry. With at least 5 year SQ experiences in mechanical components such as stamping, machining, casting, sinter metal parts etc.
• Good knowledge in QS, TS standards
• Good Experiences in GD&T and checking fixture
• Fluent English in both speaking and writing
• Good experiences in using APQP and PPAP processes
• Good knowledge and understanding in quality tools like SPC, MSA, FMEA, 8D and 5 why etc. 
• Persistent driving for results through sound project management, organizational and systematic problem solving skills. Capable to manage complex projects
• Willing to work under high pressure, fast-pace environment with minimal supervision
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Frequent domestic and international travel is required
