Job Description
The Warehouse Manger will report directly to Account Director and be responsible for all warehouse and compliance related activities. The scope of the role is as detailed below.
- Warehouse
a) Maintenance of the warehouse infrastructure
b) 5S management and tracking
c) Manage the inbound binning and outbound despatching within target time.
d) Manage the warehouse operations under a safe circumstance
e) Conduct weekly and monthly PI counting
f) Good concepts of the location management.
g) Sourcing and purchasing consumables and manage the stock properly in the warehouse
h) Fulfil EHS compliance in daily warehouse operation
- Systems
a) Ability to master and operate the internal Unipart SAP system
b) Responsible for monthly/annually stock accuracy 100% especial for bond goods and monthly/annually inventory report;
c) To make sure the transaction both for in and out are as accurate as possible; the physical inventory data match the ethical inventory date in the SAP system together with the operational supervisor.
- Compliance
Ensure the warehouse is fully compliant with all relevant Chinese regulations
- Cost Management
a) Day to day management of all warehouse costs
b) Work in conjunction with the National warehouse manager to achieve year on year efficiencies and cost reductions within the warehouse and freight management area's.
c) Report for the slowing moving/scrap/return/temporary storage and etc. and updated regularly in view of cost down.
- Warehouse Audit
During the first year of operation to ensure that the warehouse fully adopts and successfully implements all operational and management audits and procedures encompassed within the Unipart Way.

Requirements & Experience
1. 3+ years experience of warehouse management including an understanding of lean process, compliance, bonded or non-bonded warehouses and cost management is essential.
2. One of the key differentiators behind the success of Unipart Logistics is the ability of our staff to work using the Unipart Way to create a culture focused on the customer and continually surpassing the customers' expectations.
3. To achieve this the successful candidate will need a combination of hands on warehouse management experience together with the ability to constantly improve costs and operational efficiency.
4. Lean warehouse operation experience is necessary, which relate to manage Dock operation, Receiving/shipping windows, delivery route, Min/Max stock control, bin location utilization.
5. Junior college or above. Minimum 5 years experience in warehouse management, automotive industry background is a plus.
6. A strong communicator/interpersonal skills;
7. Oral and written English is preferred;
8. Analytical with problem solving skills.
9. A good team work.
