POSITION OVERVIEW

MDM Analyst reports to IT Master Data Supervisor, Asia Pacific and has primary responsibility in the Master Data area. The MDM Analyst’s role is to analyze, manage & clean up Master Data. This role will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving.

PRIMARY DUTIES

This individual will be involved in a variety of activities. The primary customer base served includes internal business users. Areas of focus include:

Master Data support [95%]

• Follow Global Master Data standard, approval matrix & working Instruction to provide Master Data maintenance (new data entry/ existing data change) & meet Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Analyze existing Master Data integrity & accuracy based on Global Master Data standard, communicate with Business data owner for correct data, and clean up in the system.
• Maintain working instruction to keep it up-to-date.

Project support [5%]

• Provide support & coordination for local and global project activities

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor BA, CS MIS, or technical degree/equivalent
• Internship in IT/business with 1 – 2 years of IT/business experience in the following areas:

• Data analysis & processing
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications, particularly Excel and Access

• Fluency in both China and English
• Good communication skills
• Highly self-motivated
• Experience working in a remote team and collaborative global environment
• Flexible work hours are required for collaboration with other H.B. Fuller team members around the globe.  This may include remote support and after hours support.
• Must be willing to travel as needed (<5%)

     

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master data maintenance in SAP
• 2 to 5 years of IT/business experience in a related area
  - SQL Query
  - VBA programming
  - System update processes and tools
  - Microsoft Office applications
  - Document management systems like SharePoint
