CAREER BAND: Principal
REPORTING TO (ROLE):
HR Business Partner in Regional HR
Head of GZDC
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
Attract, develop and retain talent with an objective to strengthen the capabilities and help GZ DC become a preferred employer.
Maintain and streamline the current HR operations; and provide advice and support in implementing people initiatives, solving issues related to employee performance, staffing, compensation, training & development, talent management, change management etc.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: ?
Ensure HR policies and procedures are in alignment with operation needs and in compliance with local regulations and regional HR blueprint
Consult with all levels of GZ leadership on all aspects impacting their teams including staffing, employee relations, compensation, mobility, people development, performance management, retention and provide advice/ guidance.
Work closely with line managers to identify potential staffing problems and plan ahead on any improvement initiatives
Managing staff performance-related and employee relations issues; manage talent development and implement the OTR process.
Establish a strong Training and development framework and training plan as well as oversee the implementation of various learning & development programs;
Support the teams in driving employee engagement through interpretation of SCOPE results, focus groups, action plans, sharing at Town halls and departmental offsite etc.
Provide guidance to the team on all compensation and benefits related including but not limited to, C&B surveys, year-end process, salary and benefits structure, grading structure etc.
Ensure that the dashboards and reports generated by HR are timely and accurate.
KEY CUSTOMERS:
GZ DC leadership team
All GZ DC Staff
Regional IT and HR team
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
University or Master degree majoring in Business Administration or HR Management
10+ years of broad HR generalist experience in Training, C&B, Performance Management etc.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and people management skills
Candidate must be result oriented, with strong sense of Customer Focus and should be able to build creditability with stakeholders and deliver results.
Fluency in English, Cantonese/ Mandarin is required.
