Primary function:
1)    Conceive, initiate and lead autoimmune disease/Immuno-oncology drug discovery project(s);
2)    Lead the efforts to develop appropriate functional assays in multiple formats to support discovery project.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:
1)    Identify emerging clinical trends, contribute to target identification, validation, characterization, initiate and lead antibody drug discovery programs in autoimmune disease/Immuno-oncology therapeutic area;
2)    Play a visible role in decision-making process on cross-functional antibody discovery teams and effectively collaborates with other functions in the discovery department;
3)    Independently design and perform scientific experiments including developing new methodologies/assays, protocols, and test procedures;
4)    Prepare technical reports, publications and oral presentations. Independently present work at meetings. Deliver updates to senior level management;
5)    Design autoimmune disease/tumor model in vivo studies, supervise CRO efforts, monitor qualities of in vivo studies, interpret the data, present the data to the leadership team and trouble shooting.
职位要求：
1)    Ph.D. in Immunology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry related discipline. Post-doctoral experience in a relevant field;
2)    5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech experience with expertise in autoimmune disease/Immuno-oncology and understanding of antibody drug discovery, has demonstrated strong record of scientific publication;
3)    Broad knowledge in immunology, hands on experience in cellular and molecular immunological techniques including ELISA, flow cytometry, in vitro functional assays, and cell culture, using rodent, non-human primate, and human samples;
4)    Hands on experiences in functional assay development such as T cell, B cell activation, cytokine release, mixed lymphocyte reaction, cell proliferation, apoptosis, reporter gene assay;
5)    Deep knowledge and extensive experience in autoimmune disease/Immuno-oncology in vivo model studies
6)    Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English;
7)    Self-motivated, function well in a matrix organization and a good team player.
