Key Responsibilities
Manage the Metrology (CMM, OMM etc.) of mechanicals suppliers.
Provide on-site inspection support at certain metrology and manufacturing sites
Collaborate with design, manufacturing and process engineering teams to optimize component and assembly inspection processes
Qualify new metrology equipment and complete measurement system analysis to ensure optimal performance and capability
Develop, implement and audit component quality and test plans, esp. on measurement
Develop or debug automatic measurement programs to make sure the measurement can best fit design intent
Manage and resolve quality issues, identify root cause and implement effective and sustainable countermeasures
Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement

Requirements:
Minimum 8 years’ experience in all levels’ quality management. Include 5+ years of relevant work experience in metrology, quality assurance and/or manufacturing
Detailed knowledge of mechanical drawings, GD&T, GRR etc.
Proficient in developing and validating automated inspection programs for coordinate and optical measuring machines (CMM/OMM)
Ideal candidate has experience programming Hexagon OMM/CMM using PC-DMIS
Hands-on experience performing inspection with mechanical hand tools (e.g. calipers, micrometers, height gauge, dial indicators)
Capable of analyzing dimensional data using statistical tools and software (e.g. JMP, Minitab)
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering is a plus
Experience in designing fixtures and gauges for mechanical manufacturing processes is a plus
Basic English communication skills
