Position Summary
The Design Engineer is responsible for designing simple gages and fixtures to support the inspection or assembly of product. This person is also responsible for collaborating with the gages or fixtures requestors to fully understand the need, provide solutions that support low cost, ease of use, and calibration, and provides gages that meet Swagelok performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities（general 8-10 items）
·Evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria in designing and modifying gages and fixtures to meet product requirements
·Designing simple gages for Swagelok products that adhere to Swagelok quality specifications and all references to industry standards.
§Designs component fixtures for assembly operations and inspection methods
§Utilize Swagelok computer design software (SolidWorks) for creating 3D models and blueprints for simple gages and fixtures.
§Evaluates Gage Designs for ease of use, calibration, set up and repair.
§Creates use instructions for gages and fixtures.
§Provide recommendations & implement improvements to measuring techniques.
·Collaborates on necessary documentation updates (SQC’s, SDA’s, etc) to support functional gages
·Establish the drawing template for gages and fixture design.

Position Requirements
·Education: Bachelor degree in Engineering field is required, appropriate continuous training is preferred.

Experience: Minimum 2 years design experience in a related industry
经验：2年以上在相关行业设计经验
· English: Ability to read, write and speak English.

· Communication: Detail-oriented, good oral and written communication skills.
