SMTS Silicon Design Engineer

THE ROLE:
? Be responsible for performance verification for the most advanced GPU in the world
? Work with the most talent people in computer graphics
? Develop more advanced GPU technology

THE PERSON:
? Have passion for Computer Graphics technology
? Good at communication and teamwork
? Good at English

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Co-Work with Worldwide Performance Verification and Design Team
? Lead Performance Verification and Analysis for new chip
? In pre-silicon:
o Learn new features, write test plan and new tests for new graphics
chips
o Debug VCS sim for function error and low performance
o Debug HW emu for low performance
? In post-silicon:
o Work with SW/HW team to analysis performance
o Optimize chip setting for better performance

o Compare our chips with the competitors

? Correlate performance data among modeling, pre-silicon and post-silicon
? Continuous team and self-growth
o Innovation/patent
? Initiate and Lead Research on GPU architect
? Initiate Advanced Performance/Power Algorithms
? Write performance analysis tools

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
? C\C++
? CPU/GPU Design/Verification
? OpenGL/D3D programming experience
? OpenGL/D3D driver experience
? Linux/Shell
? perl/python
? Graphics Algorithm/Graphics Pipeline
? Proficient in English read/write/speaking/listening
? Good communication and Team worker

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
? Master or bachelor’s degree in computer science and/or EE
