Key responsibilities:

• Work with sourcing to release purchase order to suppliers, take actions to cancel, delay or expedite purchase order and ensure on time delivery.
• Work with request Dept. & logistics to track supplier OTD performance to achieve Dematic OTD requirement.
• Work with finance team to ensure supplier payment on time.
• Work with SQE & sourcing team on supplier scorecard to improve supplier performance.
• Work with process, compliance & other related Dept. to keep improve company process follow Dematic requirement.
• Work with other buyer team member to maintain record date and follow up urgent case.
• Management of origin invoices and related document to record clearly.
• Follow up project schedule to understand every key point with each supplier to meet project OTD requirement.
• Keep commodity study with supplier to understand supplier production process & Dematic requirement.
• Communicate Dematic expectations to the suppliers/customers.
• Optimize order management process to ensure effective communication with suppliers.
• Optimize overall cost of materials.
• Other work arranged by the superior.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, major in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of purchasing experience in project.
• Knowledge of direct purchase, such as semiconductor, IP&E and mechanical parts & etc.
• Good problem-solving skill & decision making.
• Proficiency in MRP system.
• Good at negotiation skills.
