Roles & Responsibilities:

·         Purchase raw materials, spares and components in line with the specified delivery and quality targets.

·         Develop ideas and strategies with the regional supply chain teams to improve operational efficiency, add value and support continuous improvement.

·         Research and evaluate areas of opportunity and optimize costs where possible, including aspects such as lead time, inventory and delivery performance.

·         Work closely with the Regional Inventory planner to optimize SAP replenishment parameters within responsibility scope.

·         Ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate proactively any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations

·         Specific responsibility for Global China based Suppliers and the associated liaison with global procurement teams to ensure MI’s global demand is achieved.

Release, review and assess the requirement forecast with suppliers to ensure their ability to meet MI’s overall delivery expectations.

Key Competencies/Skills:

·       A good level of English, reading, written and spoken.                             

·       Demonstrable experience of the SAP supply chain modules.

·       Strong problem-solving approach supported by logical decision making.

·       A collaborative attitude combined with a strong teamwork ethic.

·       Excellent organizational and planning skills.

·       Customer focused both internal and external.

·       Knowledge of global incoterms and import compliance.

       

Qualifications and Experience:

• College degree or above, major in international trade preferred.
• CPIM or CSCP Certification is plus to have.
• 5+ years working experience for procurement & planning management
