Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    

Planning and organizing technical projects and design work with minimum technical risk, leading the product development team achieving project target, have sense for urgency and keeps project timing in focus to meet all milestones. Have common sense and logic to be able to understand customer requirements and effectively transfer them into design requirements. Must have excellent communication skills to be able to work effectively with customers and clearly explain complex technical issues.

    

Planning and performing system performance test and analysis work in a timely manner and must be proficient at reading and understanding engineering drawings. Good understanding of test techniques, including measurement of mechanical vibration, and instrumentation. A good knowledge of spoken and written English is a must in the internal and external communication.

    

    

Key duties include:

• To work closely with sales, product design team and plant production Launch team to manage program profitability.
• Must have common sense and logic could able to understand customer requirements and effectively transfer them into design requirements.
• Must have excellent communication skills to be able to work effectively with customers and clearly explain complex technical issues.
• System design and testing capability to satisfy customer technical requirements and solve engineering issues.
• Planning and organizing technical projects as the project baseline from project timing, quality and cost. Have a sense for urgency and keeps project timing in focus to meet all milestones. Reporting the project progress and open issues to management regularly or irregularly.
• Other tasks or duties as assigned.

                            

    

Scope of Role:

    

Primary responsibility is to manage, encourage and maintain customer relationships by executing projects to meet or exceed requirements and expectations and ensure successful program launch.

    

    

This role will report to System Project Manager

    

    

Education and Experience:

• BS degree, Master degree is preferred ·
• Majored in mechanical engineering or automotive engineering background ·
• At least 5 years of automotive engine working experience ·
• IATF16949 certification is a plus ·
• Be familiar with project management and automotive APQP/VDA process is a plus ·
• A good command of both oral and written English ·
• AutoCAD and Pro-e is necessary

    

Required Skills:

    

• Logically understand and analysis customer requirements and effectively transfer them into design requirements.
• Strong engineering background could able to design CAD drawings, technically communication with customer explaining complex engineering problem, perform system analysis and testing, lead new product development issue solving.
• Project management skills on planning and organization, actively leading the project development team achieving project target under limited resource and time. Microsoft project software skill is required in project timing creating and monitoring.
• Ability to maintain customer relationship.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Leadership and teamwork with internal product development members.
