RESPONSIBILITIES

●     System design review and system assembly process review.

●     Close interaction with US counterparts and cross-functional teams to support development builds at contract manufacturers.

●     Develop acoustic test equipment and implement test across development builds.

●     Setup acoustic test equipment and write scripts to improve test efficiency.

●     Validate acoustic hardware and firmware during product development builds.

●     Support factory builds to ensure audio quality is being met and solve issues in real time.

●     Provide assistance for any audio related failure analysis in region.

●     Validate all aspects of the audio design though hands-on measurements and leveraging JDM partner resources.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

●     BS degree in Acoustics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent similar experience.

●     Experienced professional with a history of working with contract manufacturers.

●     Experience in audio test script development (Matlab, Python etc.,).

●     Excellent troubleshooting and data analysis skills.

●     Extensive experience with audio and acoustic test and measurement tools for engineering evaluation and factory testing.

●     10+ years experience delivering consumer audio electronics to the market.

●     Proven communication skills and experience working across disciplines to drive optimal solutions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in physical acoustics and transducer design.

Experience in modeling complex multi-disciplinary systems.

Familiarity with mechanical design principles, FEA, and advanced materials.

Good understanding of transducer design and digital signal processing.
