Essential Purpose of Position:
The Safety Manager will oversee and work on construction projects to provide a focused effort around safety leadership, proactive planning and the implementation of contractor managed safety programs. The Safety manager will also work to identify, eliminate and control hazardous conditions that may lead to injury and/or property loss by proactively engaging all project stakeholders and contractors and facilitating best practices and Incident and Injury-Free Environment Techniques.

? Work with project stakeholders to develop an overall project specific safety and risk management strategy that aligns with Tishman Speyer's safety and loss control policies.

? Review and ensure project specific site safety programs are being implemented and enforced.

? Establish and conduct effective worker orientation programs in subordination with contractors.
配合承包商对工人建立和实施有效的安全辅导计划。
? Ensures that contractors are conducting proper training as per local standards.
确保承包商按当地标准组织适当的安全培训。
? Conduct safety meetings and issue minutes of meeting, and provide monthly safety reports as required.
参加安全会议和整理会议记录,并按照要求提供月度安全报告。
? Conduct routine site safety audits and document observations in written reports.
在现场进行日常的安全巡视，以书面报告的形式记录巡视结果。
? Educate and advise project staff on safety guidelines and policies.
教育和告知员工安全方面的方针和政策。
? Investigate and report on incidents and prepare claim information.
调查和报告安全事故并准备索赔资料。
? Conduct root cause analysis of near misses and incidents/injuries on site and publish results. Use this experience to help develop and implement preventive measures with the contractors.
分析现场临界事故的事项/事故并且公布结果。通过这些案例来帮助承包商制定和实施预防措施。
? Evaluate and make recommendations with regard to requirements and planning for the establishment and administration of contractor provided worker/labor camps. Ensure the ongoing maintenance and administration is consistent with established requirements.
对承包商所建的工人宿舍提出要求并建议管理制度。确保持续的维护和管理符合既

The Safety Manager must be able to perform the duties of the job, and shall meet the following qualifications:

? Undergraduate or graduate degree in Safety and Health, or equivalent.

? Ten (10) years of safety experience, or combination of education and multiple years of experience in building construction, with a working knowledge of safety/environmental principles and techniques.

? Capable of identifying known potential exposures and recommending corrective actions.

? Broad understanding of the commercial and/or residential real estate construction process in China.

? Familiarity with national and local safety regulations as well as industry best practices in site safety management.

? Ability to use and has sufficient knowledge of computer software currently utilized by Tishman Speyer.
