Responsibilities,
1. Secure DFM process at part design stage to reduce production risk
2. Evaluation of the part design solutions, tool drawing to ensure the implementation of tool & element quality
3. -Identify and evaluate the right machine used for products
4. Support in the molding area of yields, quality and cost sustaining for product line processes
5. Monitoring, improving, analyzing and control processes, material, tooling and equipment
6. Verify Control Plan, FMEA, Process Flow, Operation Standard and other
7. Responsible for machine qualification, buy-off and conduct regular failure and reject analysis
8. Ensure the mold functionality and molding process are optimized
9. Project regular updating and reporting to project team
10. Ensure the optimization of cycle time on each of the element
11. Competence and best practice development and sharing with contract manufacturer
12. Technology and competency transfer to contract manufacturer
13. Daily improvement
----Molding yield improvement
----Molding line efficiency improvement (Safety, POKA-YOKE, productivity...)
----Cost reduction
----Bone pile managing and tracking
----Lean manufacturing concept introduction

Qualifications,
1. Over 6 years process engineering experiences in molding.
2. College level or higher education in Mechanical design or tooling design
3. Be familiar with different molding machines.
4. Be familiar with different type of plastic resin.
5. Have good engineering sense for molding process design, fixtures and jigs design and fabrication.
6. Be familiar with manufacturing control tools such as FMEA, SPC and etc.
7. Have strong problem solving skills for molding issues.
8. Strong team work spirit and be able to work with OEM supplier closely for daily molding process improvement.
9. Have good knowledge of six sigma and lean manufacturing.
10. Good English of both written and oral.
