Title: Power Plant Development Superintendent

Location: Changshu

Job Purpose:

To lead and develop power plant process to maintain reliability at good level and reach cost efficient target.

To keep power plant operation & maintenance teams work closely and efficiently, and provide strong technical support for power plant maintenance teams.

Key tasks:

1. Operation reliability and cost efficiency improvement

• Be responsible for big trouble shooting actions and operation instructions for critical areas.
• Be responsible for main machinery maintenance master plan and improvement proposal.
• To be responsible for the implementation of MOP investments in Power Plant.
• Be responsible for operational KPI definition and implementation
• To optimize power plant operation plan to support mill and department target
• Be responsible for Boiler/turbine/power system maintenance budget and cost.
• Be responsible for big trial run in power plant
• Be the owner of boiler and turbine overhaul
• To plan together with PM and maintenance team for big maintenance work.

2. People development and management

• To develop the personnel performance in his/her team.
• Be responsible for department multi-skill training plan and implementation.
• Be responsible for key operators and supervisors' development plan and implementation.

3. Others

• Be responsible for mill-wide energy audit plan and implementation
• Be responsible for department internal control audit.
• Be key person for energy price forecast.
• Be contact person for boiler/turbine supplier, nature gas issue and energy saving program.
• Be deputy to E&U manager during his/her absence.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in thermal engineering or electrification, and five years working experience in CHP power plant operation or project work, advance understanding of power industry.
• Good computer skills with SAP, MS-package;
• Fluent English speaking and writing.
