Position Overview:

This position needs to lead the AR team to issue tuition bills, invoices of other revenues as well as related fapiao and process related transactions accurately and timely, keep accounting records correctly, communicate with parents, students and other third parties professionally, and collect receivables timely.

Reports to:

Financial Controller

Essential Duties:

1. Lead the accounts receivable team to handle the day-to-day work to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness in operations.

2.Maintain and keep optimizing the billing schedule and procedures. Develop and deployment procedures and treatments of all types of transactions.

3. Coordinate with related offices to ensure the on time and smooth tuition billing and collection.

4.Be the expert of student information system including but not limited to setting up and using the system to handle the transactions but also troubleshooting issues occurred in all kinds of situations and work with IT team to solve the problems.

5. Work with IT to set up the interfaces between other systems and ERP for GL posting.

6. Review vouchers prepared by AR team and transferred from other systems to ensure the accuracy and compliance.

7. Oversee the collection of student accounts.

8. Be responsible for providing data and reports requested internally and externally.

9. Be in charge of responding to the inquiries from students and parents in a professional and timely manner.

10. Supervise and provide support, guidance, and training to the AR team.

11. Be the key contact with external and internal auditors for AR related transactions.

12. Perform other ad-hoc assignments as needed.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.

2.8 years or above relevant work experience with comprehensive knowledge of accounts receivable processes and procedures.

3. 2 years or above team management experience.

4. Excellent oral and written communication skills and superior interpersonal skills with good customer service mindset.

5. Detail oriented and willing to continuously learn.

6. Strong problem solving and time management skills.

7. Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team player.

8. Ability to work with complex systems.
